Who we are

"Inspecstar LLC Home Inspections Services" is a seasoning company that has a long history in the making. I first started working residential construction 36 yrs. ago, and out of those 36 yrs.

Inspestar's Mission:

I ( Stacey Suratt Owner of Inspecstar LLC ) thoroughly understand the "standards of practice" of a home inspector in the state of TN, and I will go beyond those standards to reveal all I possible can to you, about the property you are considering buying or selling. With tools like: my Seasoned Code of Ethics, my Well Trained Senses, a Continuing Education, and Research I will Inspect all accessible areas and major components. I take Pride in being there for my Clients before and after the completion of the Detailed Inspection Report!

Seasonal Tips:

The summer months bring a lot of heat and humidity. The attic ventilation should be checked to make sure the soffit and gable vents are unobstructed. Thermostatically controlled roof vents should be tested to assure they are functioning properly.
The attic Insulation should be a minimum of 10 inches deep and covering all of the ceiling joist.
The foundation vents should be closed during the hot and humid summer months to prevent condensation from forming in the crawlspace. Foundation vents should only be opened during the cooler drier months, such as the fall and early winter months. Keeping your Home Properly Insulated and Ventilated will Reduce your Heating/ Cooling Cost and Extend the Life Expectancy of your Home, as well as your HVAC System.
